Niche Rivalry is about ready to launch!
While I am prepping that, I want to give you guys some insight on how to turn your ideas from the brainstorming session into money-making keywords.
Determining your keywords is the most important part of your website building. If you pick the wrong keywords, you may as well shoot yourself now.
There are a lot of handy tools for keyword development — and I highly recommend them — however, if you are cash-strapped, your can use a few free tools and find keywords for free.

You need to answer a few questions as you determine your keyword:
Are you Qualified to Write about that Keyword?
- You have an interest in
- You have experience in
- You are adept at researching
Will Your Website Fill a Need?
- Other people haven’t already filled the need
- Answer questions, provide review
- How much competition is already there?
Finally, we look at the quandry of competitiveness: you want to reach a lucrative market, but the more lucrative the market, the more competition you will find.

Thank you for the information you provided, I have one question hop you can help in answering.
If I’m targeting mykeyphrase keyword and the .com domain is not available shall I go with mykeyphrase.net or add S to the keyword and use the plural form and get the .com?
You know, if you can add the “s” and it still makes sense, then I would go with the .com
Otherwise, the .net should be fine!
